The Wage-Price Spiral in Turkey and Its Effect on Inflation: ARDL Bounds Test Approach

چکیده

This article explores the validity of wage-price spiral and its effect on inflation in Turkey period 2009Q1-2021Q3. For this purpose, three models have been estimated. The first is basic model; second model decoupled from productivity industrial sector; third extended that takes into account macro determinants underlying price inflation. According to results estimated using ARDL Bounds Test Approach, valid only when other are ignored. estimation model, it concluded real gross domestic product wages exchange rate prices positive statistically significant both long short run.
